The articles in this ongoing collection discuss comics in the context of particular nationalities. They were not written with a collection in mind, but they have accrued in The Comics Grid over time. Taken together, they provide a vibrant picture of comics around the world, from familiar comics countries, such as France and Japan, to nations perhaps not immediately associated with comics, such as Argentina and Myanmar. New articles will be added as appropriate. We hope that this collection is useful to scholars interested in national variations in comics and general readers curious about the diversity of comics on a global scale.
